⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pedro and Jacqueline are awesome people. They are great with kids.They’re patient, encouraging, and take the time to work with each child individually. Both are black belts and true professionals who lead with kindness and respect. I highly recommend Gracie Barra Trussville to anyone looking for a great environment to learn and grow! My wife and son both go here.

After five years of training in Jiu-Jitsu, I left my old gym seeking a new environment that valued a strong family dynamic and a supportive community. Gracie Barra Trussville has exceeded my expectations, providing a welcoming space where instructors prioritize students' growth and development. The teaching approach, led by Professor Pedro and Jacqueline, is characterized by integrity, honor, and a sincere commitment to helping students enhance their skills. I appreciate the instructors' focus on fostering a positive learning environment, where students feel encouraged and supported rather than criticized or belittled. Professor Pedro and Jacqueline demonstrate exceptional coaching skills, genuinely caring for their students and motivating them to reach their full potential. Our family absolutely loves training jiu-jitsu here! From the moment we joined, we felt welcomed and supported by everyone — coaches and students alike. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and truly care about helping each person improve, no matter their experience level. What makes this place special is the family-friendly environment. My family and I can train together, stay active, and learn valuable self-defense skills while having fun. The kids’ program is fantastic — it builds confidence, discipline, and respect in a positive way. The gym is always clean, organized, and full of positive energy. We leave every class feeling stronger, motivated, and proud of our progress. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that combines great training with a real sense of community!

Gracie Barra Trussville is a great gym! It’s obvious that Professor Pedro and Professor Jacqueline have poured their heart and soul into creating an amazing environment for everyone to learn and grow in jiujitsu! Kids, adults, families, hobbyists, competitors, every age, every goal, etc, there’s something here for everyone. It is a great community and I’m so honored to be a part of it! Gracie Barra Trussville is my family!

Gracie Barra Trussville is AMAZING! Professors Pedro & Jaqueline, and all the coaches, are doing a fantastic job teaching discipline and self-defense. My three kids, including my special needs child, absolutely love it and have so much fun! Highly recommend for all kids and adults.
