Coach G and his boys boxing class deserve all the and then some. The impact he’s had goes far beyond just teaching boxing skills—it’s about building confidence, discipline, and character in every single kid who walks through those doors. Coach G is incredibly supportive and genuinely invested in each of his students. He meets them where they’re at, pushes them to grow, and celebrates their progress every step of the way. The environment he creates is positive, motivating, and full of respect—something that’s not easy to find. You can see the difference in the boys, not just physically but mentally. They leave stronger, more focused, and believing in themselves in ways they didn’t before. That kind of influence is priceless. We’re beyond thankful for Coach G and everything he pours into his class. If you’re looking for a place that truly makes an impact, this is it.
If you're truly committed to becoming a better version of yourself like I was five months ago and you're looking for someone to hold you accountable and push you toward real growth, then Awakening Warriors with Coach G and his wife Naomi is the perfect place for you. They care deeply about your growth and transformation in becoming a better version of yourself that you can be proud of. I can truly say that this place feels like home and it's changed my life. Side note, the gym is in tip top shape and very clean.
Amazing environment and amazing Coach G! Accomodating to any skill level, or fitness level. Coach G has been fantastic in group and 1on1 settings. Super accommodating and inspiring! I regret not joining sooner!
When my 14 year old expressed interest in boxing a couple months ago I dived right in to finding the right place. After just one meeting with Coach G my son felt comfortable and respected as a person not a child. As a single mother I am pleased to hear the advice given by Coach G reflects my own words to my son and reinforces the positive values I hope to instill in him as he becomes a man. In addition, after only 2 months, my son has expressed interest in healthier eating and sleeping habits with the realization that they will contribute to his success in training. The environment is very positive and supportive. I couldn’t be happier with this investment of time and money for my son’s physical and mental wellbeing.
Truly grateful for finding the leadership and mentorship of Godeyvio and Awakening Warriors. My son has grown tremendously, not only in physical strength, but in mental wisdom and confidence as well. We came here to learn boxing, but with every session he continues to grow stronger as a young warrior and emerging leader.
