After trying two other boxing gyms in Fresno, I can say New Wave is on a whole different level. At the first gym, my son spent almost a year following the same workout sheet with zero coaching. At the second, I later found out they weren’t even licensed to spar or compete. Since joining New Wave, he’s completely relearned proper technique and the difference is incredible. Coach George is engaged, experienced, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his students. We only wish we’d found him years ago! I can say with confidence New Wave is hands down the best boxing gym in the Central Valley.

New Wave Boxing is hands down the best boxing gym in the Central Valley, located in Fresno, CA. My children, ranging in age from 5 to 14, attend Coach George's gym (New Wave) and absolutely love it. Coach George is patient, attentive, and takes the time to properly demonstrate boxing techniques in a way that's easy for them to understand. He instills discipline while teaching the fundamentals of boxing, constantly encouraging them to keep pushing forward. Through hard work and dedication, he helps them grow not just as boxers, but as individuals. As a parent, it’s incredibly rewarding to watch my children thrive in a sport they were once hesitant to try. My son Damian, for example, didn’t even know how to hold his hands up when he first started. Now, thanks to Coach George’s guidance and support, he confidently steps into the ring and even volunteers to spar. This amazing coach has helped my kids break out of their comfort zones and improve every single day. I myself go to the gym and I LOVE IT!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Best boxing gym in the Central Valley! My son has been training with Coach George for three years and has shown major improvement in his self defense. Bring your kids to try it out. You won’t regret it.

Coach George is great with the kids.Coach AL is good with kids Jiu jitsu over all a good place to train.
