My son loves this place. He looks forward to it throughout the day and talks about how the coaches are really supportive and really guiding him. I would highly recommend bringing Your children here they’re very family oriented and very supportive and it definitely builds character and discipline.

My son started coming here when it was Richard Perez Boxing. My son was around 9 years old. He had to take a few months off because of Covid. However coming back to the gym under new name Slick Rick Boxing and new ownership was so smooth. The Casillas family have been nothing but great with both my now 17 year old and my little man AJ (9 years old) who started when he was about 5 years old (but very mature for his age). Both my son's have learned so much from coach Rick. They both love coming to boxing and love being challenged by coach Rick to be their best. He helps them believe in themselves and makes it fun at the same time. Coach Rick and his wife are very caring and treat all the members like family. I would not take my kids anywhere else. If you want your son or daughter to learn the art of boxing while having fun or you are an adult looking for more than just a gym this is the only place to go. Thank you Casillas family for having such a welcoming place where our kids can feel safe and stay off the streets. Thank you for all that you do. We appreciate you!

Been taking my 15yo daughter here for over 2 years now and my 11yo son on and off, for personal reasons, and they both really enjoy it, especially my daughter. Aside from now being 2-0 as an amateur, early on I could tell it really boosted her confidence and self esteem. The gym is ran by a real nice couple who pay attention to detail. Coach Rick would never put his fighter in a position he thinks they couldn’t handle; whether in sparring, fighting, or just learning simple boxing skills. Great for beginners, intermediate, and advanced fighters.

I take my Son here. Started with the previous owners and now the new. New management is very welcoming and understanding of my Sons special needs. Coach is great with my Son.
