My daughter and I are both 100% new to boxing, and John Dato and his team of coaches really take the time to break things down and help you improve—it’s very beginner-friendly and made starting out way less intimidating for me. I’ve trained at both the SLO and Santa Maria locations, and both have the same welcoming, supportive vibe. What I really appreciate is the schedule—my daughter trains first and my session starts right after, which makes it perfect for busy parents, and she’s loved it just as much as I have.

This gym is not only a world class facility. It is a home away from home for many . The coaching staff is fantastic, welcoming to all skill levels . I am a 42 year old novice, each coach approached me with respect acceptance. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get in shape , in a community environment .

Love the clean new look in a prime location on the central coast of San Luis Obispo. Coach Dato makes you feel right at home with welcoming vibes and quickly calms the new comers nervous energy. Great place for the kids to learn unique life skills such as discipline and self confidence. Teenage class sets the tone for productive young adults to thrive in a positive recreation instead of veering off into troubled adolescence. A loving community that has adopted me in and set a fire within myself to push my physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth.
