My brothers and I go snowboarding every year and stay in Durango. Tuesday was the second time I dropped in to Durango Martial Arts and was not disappointed. The facility is top tier and offers everything from striking to grappling. Changing rooms/restrooms are properly maintained. The coach went over leg drags the day I was there. I was impressed with the attention to detail he provided and picked up on the sequence with no issues. Everyone is friendly and took care of me when we rolled. I was able to roll with white belts -black belts and was challenged every time. If you find yourself in the Durango area and are looking for somewhere to train, I highly recommend Durango Martial Arts!
I dropped in for a class while visiting Durango and I had a fantastic experience. Everyone was very welcoming. The instructor was great. The rolls were fun and technical. If you train BJJ (or want to get started) and are in Durango, do yourself a favor and check it out. I will definitely be dropping in the next time I’m in town.
DMAA is a great place to train with a great environment to learn martial arts, and the instructors are very welcoming to folks of all skill levels and ages. This is also a great gym to drop in for a class, so if you are visiting the area, you should certainly come train.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming. My son attends the junior Jui Juitsu class and I can really see how much he’s developed his coordination and confidence in the the last 2 months we’ve been going. We seriously love this place 👍🏼 give it a try! Proudly representing Durango, Jesse King HomeRoots Hardwood Flooring
Everyone is like family at DMA. Everyone has their own unique place in this building. All the coaches are so knowledgable and always there to help us improve on our game. As a female, I know that it's extra intimidating to walk into a dojo with there usually being 95% men and 5% women, but this gym has a great diverse group of women and men so it makes it feel 50/50. I highly encourage those women who've been thinking about join a martial arts gym to come in and check DMA out. <3
