We love Gracie Jiu Jitsu! The owners Desiree and Jason are amazing. They really care about all the kids and helping them. They hire great instructor, teach a fun and educational program and have fun extra activities! Our daughter has learned so much. This is a great safe environment for anyone interested in Jiu Jitsu. The instructors are friendly and very knowledgeable. The Gracie school focuses on self-defense in Combatives Classes but higher level students do compete in sport competitions. Instructors are very hands-on which helps with small details in movements as well as setting a positive gym atmosphere. I’m thankful I started my BJJ journey at this studio rather than getting “thrown to the wolves” at a BJJ sports gym. Another big plus of this studio is access to videos of each movement taught in class. This is extremely valuable to increase movement efficiency and execution. Keep up the great work!

We absolutely adore Desiree and Jason, and feel so lucky that they came into our son’s life. Our son is autistic and has ADHD, and those first few months on the mats were really tough for him – lots of big feelings, overwhelm, and wanting to give up. But Desiree and Jason never once made him feel like he was “too much” or “too difficult.” They met him with so much patience, kindness, and genuine understanding, and always took the time to connect with him as a person, not just a student. Over the last two years, they’ve helped him find his confidence, his focus, and a sense of pride in himself that we honestly weren’t sure he would ever feel in a sport. Watching him stick with Jiu Jitsu, push through the hard days, and recently earn his grey belt has been incredibly emotional for us as parents. He walks a little taller now, celebrates his own progress, and feels like he belongs – and that is because of the safe, encouraging environment they’ve created. If you are a parent of a neurodivergent child and you’re nervous about trying martial arts, this is the place and these are the instructors you want in your corner. Desiree and Jason see the best in every kid and help them see it in themselves, too. Our family is endlessly grateful for them, and we recommend their classes with all our hearts.

The instructors are very knowledgeable and super encouraging. They'll make sure you have a good experience, no matter your skill level. The overall program and structure is world class, with tons of resources. They include an extensive video based training program that helps move you forward in between live training sessions. From a cost standpoint, there are few things that give you a return on investment like this, because thats what this is, an investment in yourself or your family (our kids love it!).
