The one 🌟 is not for the gym. The gym is great. The dust under the benches in the free weight section should be addressed. The 1 🌟 is for the basketball court. It looks like a basketball court in a prison rec yard. Nothing good is going to come from it. There was almost a fight in there the other day. It's only time. The element that primarily uses the court is is going to be responsible for your declining membership.
My husband and I love this gym! The girls who work in the daycare are very sweet and they love my son. The saltwater hot tub and pool are nice, and the women’s locker room is always clean. I docked one star because the tanning bed does not work, and they haven’t gotten a new one after being open for a year.
I don’t even have a membership here, yet I know their class schedule by heart. Every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, I get a complimentary front-row seat to their Zumba classes right from my own bed because the music blasts straight through my walls. Living behind a gym sounds convenient on paper, but the reality is being rudely shaken awake on a Saturday morning after a exhausting week of work. GF Fitness desperately needs to invest in some soundproofing and teach their instructors where the volume knob is. Absolutely zero respect for the surrounding neighborhood.
Affordable! I go for the indoor pool (salt water) and hot tub! Very roomy, plenty of equipment a pickleball and handball courts. Staff is very friendly and serviceable. Very clean environment 👌 plenty of parking and location in a commercial area convenient for shopping, eating or running errands! They also have fitness programs and will help with fitness goals.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention some potential dangers I've found within this club. Be careful. I've found rusty razor blades, loose machine bolts, bug infestation, unknown pills scattered about in the locker room, vehicles impeding fire exits, etc. When I mentioned these things I was made to feel victim blamed. Friends and family of employees take precedence in the gym and I was openly mocked between management and a member due to exhibiting an injury I suffered during wartime military service. On another note, there is cheap fast food places next to it if you're interested. The reference number, if needed, for the Bristol Health Dept. complaint is: 2025-80 Thanks for reading my review!
