I’m a brand-new boxer and decided to give Round for Round a try — and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the gym felt approachable, welcoming, and energizing. You don’t need any prior experience to feel comfortable here. The vibe is fun, motivating, and the workouts fly by because you’re so engaged. Coach Thomas is the real deal — knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly supportive. He meets you exactly where you are, whether you’ve never thrown a punch before or you’re trying to sharpen your technique. His ability to break things down, correct your form, and keep you moving is impressive, and he really makes you feel like you belong in the ring. There are tons of classes on the schedule, which is perfect for working people. Morning, evening, weekend options — it’s easy to fit training into a busy week. Every session feels like a boost in confidence and fitness, and you leave feeling stronger than when you walked in. If you’re curious about boxing, want a killer workout, or just want to try something new with a great group of people, I definitely recommend Round for Round Boxing. Can’t beat the energy, the coaching, or the overall experience.
Coach Tom was so welcoming and encouraging during the first session. He provided the boost that I needed to finally decide to fully immerse myself into the sport of Boxing. Thank you Coach Tom and I am looking forward to what the future holds at Round for Round!
Classes with Coach Tom are SUPERFANTABULOUS!! He is an Amazing coach. He gives you fitness for life! By that i l mean he teaches you strategies that you can use everyday to help get your day going.
I was on a family vacation from the UK and passing through. Tom and the guys made me very welcome. It was a good solid boxing workout. The only downside was that it was a little expensive for a one off session. I’m not sure what the rates are here in The US. I certainly would not have paid $25 (£19) in the UK for a session. I’m sure if you sign up to a plan it would be much cheaper. That’s the only negative, sorry Tom.
I’ve been going to Round for Round Boxing since April, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for me. In just a few months, I’ve dropped 30 pounds and feel more nimble than I ever have. Tom, the coach, is an awesome guy—really good with beginners, no matter your age or fitness level. He knows how to teach without making you feel out of place, and he’s always down-to-earth. He even hosts watch parties for big boxing matches, which makes the place feel like more of a community. What I really like is that it’s not some hardcore, ego-driven gym. It’s more personal, one-on-one, and way less intimidating than other places I’ve been to. It’s a chill vibe, but you still get the work done. I’ve been going every day, and it’s honestly one of the best parts of my routine. If you’re thinking of starting boxing or just want a good workout in a no-pressure environment, this is the spot.
