I’ve done mitt work with a number of different people, but coach is by far leagues above everyone. He gets the most out of me, pays attention to every detail and always makes me feel like I’m doing 100 percent. I still can’t believe I’m working out with a professional boxer. This is BY FAR the best boxing Gym in CT. Carew is a real pro boxer, with experience as a pro and Olympian. He’s also an amazing human being. I’ve been to a number of gyms, but I’ve never gotten a better workout than with Carew. Can’t recommend this gym enough. Best workout on earth

Real deal boxing coach with passion and humility. No doubt Carew loves his craft and enjoys educating his clients on the basics of boxing and beyond. He has the expertise to gage his clients skill level and build on that to help us realize that we can be pushed to our limit and beyond with great results. I am a 58 year old female and a true believer that age does not limit you to reach your goals and beyond.i I have been working out since my 20's and this has been the hardest workout to date.

After searching for months for the perfect boxing gym I stumbled across Carew boxing, the next day I figured I would drive on down and check the place out. From the moment I walked in I knew this was the perfect place, I ended up speaking with Mr. Carew for over two hours. His enthusiasm and passion for the sport of boxing was not only evident but also contagious. I signed up right there on the spot and began training the next day. I’ve played sports and exercised quite literally my whole life I have pictures of myself in the weight room before I even knew how to walk. To say this was the hardest workout of my life would be an understatement, my first two times I must admit I came very close to puking. Whether you are looking to become champion of the world or simply looking for some new exercises and conditioning this is the place for you.
