The Little Giant Muay Thai in Falls Church has been a great experience for my son. Since joining, he has learned and experienced so much, and it has helped him develop a real love for the combat sport. His skills, confidence, discipline, and overall technique have tremendously improved. Coach Kru Chon and his team truly cares about all of their students. He is very hands-on, patient, and dedicated to helping each student grow at their own pace while still pushing them to get better. You can tell he genuinely wants the best for everyone who trains there. I highly recommend Little Giant Muay Thai to any parent or individual looking for a positive, structured, and supportive place for their child or their self to learn Muay Thai.

I've been training Muay Thai for over 20 years and I just want to take a moment to say something about Kru Chon. He is by far the nicest, most caring person I've trained with. The guy genuinely invests in his students and builds real relationships. That means a lot. His fighting pedigree speaks for itself, and his focus on traditional Muay Thai is something I really respect. You can feel the authenticity in every class. The gym has an amazing vibe. Everyone at Little Giant is welcoming and professional, zero egos — and the place is always spotless. That culture starts with Kru Chon and you feel it the moment you walk in. I truly appreciate this community and the people in it. I highly recommend training here.

I have very strong feelings regarding this gym so this review may be long, I apologize. I have been training at The Little Giant Muay Thai for 9 months now, having switched from another gym in the area in the search for more authentic training and the chance to join a fight team with established and talented fighters. Since joining I have found both of this things, but I have also found a lot more. This gym doesn’t just feel like a family, it will quickly become a real one. The community and support of the little giant is unlike anything I’ve experienced in the almost three years I’ve been doing the sport. The other members quickly became close friends and I look forward to seeing and training with them daily. I have trained at gyms from around the country as well as in Thailand, and I would take training here over all of those. The trainers are very kind and adaptive but will push you to do your best in whatever way that may look like for you. Both Kru Chon and Kru Roger are native Thais who were born and raised in the sport. They make sure to highlight and teach the cultural aspects and significance of the sport and have training built on respect, a rare thing for a Muay Thai gym in the US. As far as the actual schedule and facility, this gym has the most open and available schedule I’ve seen at a Muay Thai gym. I am able to train for 3-4 hours a day every day if I wanted with no issue, they have a clean new facility and a nice ring, bags, treadmills and plenty of pads for work with trainers or other students. It’s right in the center of a plaza with easy access to restaurants and stores for after gym errands. I’ve seen all kinds of people of all builds, ages and backgrounds train and enjoy their time here. Martial arts can be scary to start but I encourage anyone reading this who’s thinking about trying to take the leap and give it a shot here! You won’t regret it, the sport really changed my life for the better!

All instructors at The Little Giant Muay Thai are very knowledgeable and motivating. Especially Kru Roger and Kru Chon, their enthusiasm and intensity is energizing and inspiring! Kru Chon knows every student and their goals, and is dedicated to helping everyone, whether you want to compete professionally, improve fitness, or anything in between. I came to LGMT looking to improve my kickboxing and conditioning; I found this and so much more in this supportive community!

I trained at this Muay Thai gym for a few months and had a great experience overall. The atmosphere is very welcoming and genuinely feels like a family—everyone is friendly, supportive, and respectful from day one. The coaching is solid across the board. Kru Chon, the owner and head coach, is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about teaching proper Muay Thai. You can tell he really cares about his students’ progress. I mostly attended the morning classes, and Coach Marco is excellent. His classes are tough but extremely rewarding—great cardio, strong technical focus, and you always leave feeling like you learned something new. Highly recommend this gym whether you’re a beginner or looking to level up your training.
