⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a great first visit at Phoenix Boxing Gym. Michael was incredibly welcoming and made it a really positive experience right from the start. He even loaned me a pair of gloves and wraps so I could jump right in. The session was awesome — running bleachers, working heavy bags, and focusing on good technique. It was a tough workout but in the best way, and you can tell Michael really cares about boxing and helping people improve. Great atmosphere, legit training, and very welcoming for someone coming in for the first time.

i’ve been a member of the phoenix boxing gym for about 8 months or so and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. coach michael is an incredibly warm, welcoming person who offers great guidance toward improvement and nurtures a very strong community of fighters. sometimes gyms can be intimidating, not the case here. you’ll have fun, make friends and get into incredible shape all while learning the beautiful science of the sport. highly recommended!

Phoenix Boxing Gym is the definition of “it feels like family.” Michael and Nancy are two of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. You can feel it within five minutes of chatting and laughing with them. Michael is an incredible coach not only because of his knowledge, but because he immediately makes you feel at ease in his gym. They also give so much back to the community. Every Thursday, Phoenix Boxing Gym trains kids on the autism spectrum. Students from Space of Mind School come to learn boxing fundamentals, building both confidence and fitness skills in a truly supportive environment. Michael takes the time and care to ensure not only a fun time for all involved, but a truly structured experience for these students mentally, physically and emotionally. Alongside his amazing work with the special needs community, Michael is a wonderful coach because of something so often lacking in the fitness world: he cares. He cares about you, about the fundamentals, and about making sure everyone—no matter your level—gets the same respect and attention. Everyone starts on the same baseline when they walk through his door. Nancy and Michael run a beautiful gym with an even better mission. They’re two of the most humble and kind people I’ve met in such a short time. Oh, and yes—Michael kicked my ass in the best way possible, and I couldn’t move for two days. Even if you’re just looking to challenge yourself, stop by and get yourself as humbled as I did.

Having been involved in Boxing for over 40 years this is a true Boxing Gym, with professional trainers for all levels. The owner Mike has over 50 years coaching boxing including many professionals. There are no posers there, everybody comes to work and I have seen people drop over 80lbs in here. Highly recommend, even if you are just looking to get in shape. The whole gym is like a family and well all look out for each other. Forget the rest, the Phoenix is he best.

I have always been interested in learning how to box. I certainly feel that signing up to The Phoenix Boxing Gym was a great decision. I have beed training here for a few weeks and I can say I have learned plenty. The gym membership is very affordable, good for people of all ages and genders, all the mates are very friendly and helpful, and Michael (the main coach) is a true character full of boxing knowledge, enthusiasm, and lots of experience. Holy hands (coach) is such knowledgable person too, he has drills that would get you in the best shape quick. I plan to stay in this boxing gym for a very long time. Can’t wait to witness my progress! I encourage everyone to give this gym a try. Will not regret it!
