I stopped in for a class and open mat when visiting some family at the local Air Force Base and am so glad I did! Great vibes and great instruction and I met a lot of great people in a very short amount of time. I really did have a blast and some great rolls. I’m a little older so it’s always a little bit nerve-racking walking into a brand new gym, but this gym made me feel right at home. Thanks again Lisa and Jimmy for being so welcoming and I hope to see you again soon.

I can't speak enough about how great this gym is. Excellent place to train and better yourself as a martial artist. Lisa, Jimmy and the rest of the staff are excellent and very welcoming. Also if you want to train mma that is offered as well and Jamie is an excellent instructor. If you're curious about martial arts and are looking for a sign to go give it a whirl, this is it, and this place is easily the best around to get started on your journey.

Blacksmith Jiu Jitsu is so much more than a gym — it’s a family. Even if you’re not looking for a home away from home, you’ll find one here. The relationships built at Blacksmith truly last a lifetime. The coaches are empowering, positive, and genuinely welcoming. Every class feels supportive and motivating, no matter your experience level. As a woman, I can confidently say this is hands down the most friendly and inclusive environment I’ve ever trained in. Eman and Lisa are incredible instructors. They bring skill, patience, and positivity to every class and always make sure everyone is learning quality techniques while having fun and smiling along the way. I have yet to find another gym that compares to Blacksmith, and I am forever grateful for the people, the culture, and the family I gained here. If you’re considering jiu jitsu — this is the place to start (and stay).

My brother and I dropped in at Blacksmith Jiu Jitsu on vacation for the week and had an incredible experience. The instructors were very knowledgeable, helpful and patient, breaking down techniques in a way that makes learning easy and effective. The atmosphere was welcoming and ego-free, with a real focus on community and helping each other improve. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and had all the space you need for quality training. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced; a hobbyist or competitor, the culture here makes everyone feel at home. I’ve learned so much in just a week and can’t wait to return!

Blacksmith earned the best martial art training facility 2024, And once you step foot in the door, you’ll know exactly why. You’re met immediately with a warm friendly environment. Blacksmith has a community like no other and I’m proud to be apart of.
