My whole family enjoys being a part of the GAB family. Every single coach here has been extremely helpful and they are all very talented. Recommend for all ages. Women's classes are fantastic for self defense and jiu jitsu. So welcoming and fun!
Love this BJJ gym! Coaches are cool and there experience shows in how they teach. They have a curriculum to follow which has helped me a lot in comparison to a different I started at. They also provide good feedback and support when you train. Wish I could Them sooner. This gym and the coaches has shown me a brighter side of rolling and training in the BJJ art .💯 recommend.
Gracie Apollo Beach is an amazing organization. It is very family orientated. We all really enjoy spending time at the gym. My daughter would never leave if she had the choice. Even when you are new to the class they are so welcoming. If you are looking for a place to learn how to defend yourself in a safe way this is the place for individuals and families
Seasoned, world class coaches with experience. They are very good with guiding everyone across all ages, skill levels, and fitness/injuries. The prices are reasonable for the experience and fundamentals that last a lifetime and can be applied to other aspects of life. Everyone here has been helpful and they pour their soul in to helping you succeed. This is the only gym my kid has been to so I can't compare to others, but I don't think it's common amongst other BJJ gyms to have so many highly experienced/ranked instructors. There's usually 2 to 3 black belts with decades in the sport instructing. The lineage of the instructors also builds clout. Plus the occasional master classes from outside instructors to include Royce and Khonry Gracie. You just cant put a price on that.
My son has been training at this gym for over three years, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. From day one, the atmosphere has been welcoming, supportive, and motivating. The owners truly care about every student and have created a space that feels like family. The coaches are absolutely top-notch — not only skilled in jiu jitsu, but also incredible mentors who bring out the best in both kids and adults. They’re patient, knowledgeable, and push you to improve while keeping things fun and respectful. This gym has given us more than just training — it’s provided confidence, discipline, and a strong bond he’ll carry for life. We’re proud to be part of this community and can’t recommend it highly enough.
