Pitiful. That explains the level of customer service you can expect should you need assistance as a gym member here. After surgery, I needed to pause a membership for 3 months. The doctor didn't remove the restrictions so I called to ask that my membership be placed on hold for another 30 days. I was told by the first of FIVE people I've spoken to that it was already on hold and there would be no issue. Knowing how things are at this gym, I called back the following day and spoke to a second associate. They informed me that I needed to supply a doctors note either by email or in person. So, I contacted my doctor who provided the note and the exact date that medical restrictions would be removed. I emailed the note to the email I was instructed to and called to follow up. I was told they received the email and all was good. Then right on schedule, Crunch attempts to deduct the funds for the membership I placed on hold and supplied a doctors note for. I called and spoke to a girl yesterday that said the charge attempt was done in error that she spoke to a manager and they added a note to the account so I wouldn't be charged. I wake up this morning to Crunch making 7 more attempts to run the charge. Happy I keep my card frozen. So, I go to the location this morning and speak with Onya. Onya basically informed me that they're a corporate company and they have no power and can't do anything but put a note on my account. I asked for a manager, she informed me she was the manager. Probably one of the more stoic, unconcerned, and unfazed managers I've seen in a long time. So basically, the staff and managers are equally as useless because Crunch offers no way for them to take care of customers. The staff I spoke with were special, basically lying so they can get back to standing at the desk. Anyway, I asked Onya for a phone number, she informed me they don't have one. Supposedly, they need a 10 day notice when supplying a doctors note (to a gym š), I'm sure it's buried somewhere in their contract. Still odd since none of the staff members I spoke with at any point over the past 3 months while placing my membership on hold ever said a word about it. Might just be time to find another gym. Thankfully, there's one on every corner.
Great staff! Very helpful BH was very direct kept it simple and ambitious! He made me feel I was in the right place for my goals. Location is very clean, friendly people. Has everything you can need or want in a gym! If you're reading this dont think just do it. Go ask For B.H and youll feel right at home pumped starting your no pressure journey!
Crunch Fitness Seminole is hands down one of the best gyms Iāve been to. Every time I come in, the gym is clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with all the equipment I need for my workouts. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Anytime I have a question, concern, or need assistance, Amy is always there taking great care of everyone. She is absolutely incredibleāsupportive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with fitness questions or anything else you might need. You can tell she truly cares about the members and the overall experience at the gym. Highly recommend Crunch Fitness Seminole to anyone looking for a clean gym, great equipment, and an amazing staff! šŖ
āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Crunch Fitness Seminole is truly a wonderful gym that feels like family. It may not be the biggest or newest location in the Crunch franchise, but the people, instructors, and trainers make it the best by far. Our family has worked with both Malyna and Steven, and theyāve each made such a positive impact. Malyna is absolutely amazing with young athletes, sheās helped my son improve his mobility, speed, and strength for baseball, and weāre so thankful for her. Steven has been incredible for my husband and me, helping us grow in both strength and confidence through his whole-body approach that includes faith, mindset, and physical fitness. They both truly care about their clients. Itās not just a paycheck for them. Marcela, the group class instructor, is also one of the best! Her energy and workouts are outstanding! She is extremely knowledgeable and cares about her students form and progress which is hard to find. Everyone at Crunch Seminole truly cares about one another. Itās a community, not just a gym. I actually miss it when Iām away on vacation or for work, which says it all. Simply the best gym Iāve ever been a part of.
Been a member for a couple years now. Initially, it was great but when management changed a few months ago things started deteriorating. The women's locker room has multiple problems. A stall door has been missing for months, it's not kept clean, and the sauna overhead light has been out for weeks. They are doing a better job at fixing workout machines in a timely manner. So, I appreciate that. But, just know you get what you pay for and this is not a luxury gym.
