Ive been practicing jiujitsu for over decade and decided to drop in to train at Augusta Jiujitsu Academy. I heard great things about Professor Ryne from another practitioner in the area. My take away from Professor Ryne is that he's the real deal. Great instructor, great technique, great person. Overall welcoming environment.
Came in town for work. All the coaches were super welcoming. Great jiu jitsu, Everyone was technical and controlled. If your looking for a place to train check these dudes out. 100% will come back and train with them again if im in the area.
Augusta Jiu-Jitsu is an Awesome place to go if you want to roll and learn BJJ in a structured and friendly environment. It’s clean the people are great, Ryne, Lauren, Eric and Charles are especially excellent teachers and if you’re in the area you gotta come over here and train.
Augusta’s Jujitsu has been a great experience for my daughter. The instructors were kind, patient, and very helpful, and they made her feel comfortable from day one. The environment is welcoming and supportive, and they really take the time to help each student learn and grow. We were very happy with the training and would absolutely recommend Augusta’s Jujitsu to other families.
Augusta Jiu Jitsu Academy has changed my life. It has brought a hobby and a second family into my life. I began in September 2025 and I have absolutely had a blast. I started off with no grappling experience whatsoever, but the people at AJJ have been patient and helpful throughout the year. I got my first stripe in December and understand I have a lot to work on. So proud to be a part of this community and the life lessons it brings!
