Training with Coaches Lyka and Shane has been an incredible experience. Their passion for Muay Thai is unmistakable and shines through in every session they lead. What truly makes them special is their dedication to everyone from young children just starting out, to older adults stepping onto the mat with courage and determination. They meet each person where they are, with patience, respect, and genuine care. Lyka and Shane don’t just teach techniques they build confidence, discipline, and heart. Their energy is motivating, uplifting, and deeply inspiring. No matter your age or skill level, they make you feel seen, supported, and capable of more than you thought possible. They consistently go above and beyond, whether it’s staying late to help someone improve, encouraging a student who is struggling, or creating a positive and inclusive environment where everyone can grow. Solid Thai style fundamentals, awesome workout, and authentic fight gym with workshop and competition opportunities. I took my boyfriend here for his first Muay Thai class and we loved it 😍 Coaches Shane and Lyka are a dream team :)
I can’t say enough great things about Ebb n Flo Maui Muay Thai Class. As a former classmate, I already knew thet are great people. But seeing them as a coach and mentor, especially with my son Ethan, gave me a whole new level of respect. My son can be shy and easily overwhelmed, but both coach Lyka and coach Shane was incredibly patient, kind and encouraging from the start. They created a space where Ethan felt safe to try, mess up and grow. Now he asks when he’ll be going back again. It’s amazing to see his confidence building, not just physically but mentally too. If you’re looking for a Muay Thai coach who genuinely cares about your child’s growth and mindset, this is the place!
Coach Lyka & Coach Shane are incredible. Shane especially has made a huge impact on my growth through personal training. They both have so much knowledge, patience, and just the right push when you need it. Every session challenges me in the best way, and the vibe at the gym is always welcoming. If you’re thinking about trying Muay Thai, this is the spot!
I love ebbnflowmaui Coach Shane and Coach Lyka are the most patient and friendliest people I know. They are there to help work with you with your movements, positioning, and stance when it comes to Muay Thai. Its all about mind, body, and spirit in the art of this mastery and how each movement of Muay Thai/bag work class changes you in a good way. Every class Coach Shane always says in the beginning that Muay Thai is referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs.” We use our fists, elbows, knees and shins as weapons. Its all about growing and learning and they’re there to help you and guide you. Its a good way to release stress and take it on to the bag. For me its like my meditation/workout because i can focus on myself and i feel good about myself after. I can also practice at home with the combos/bag work that Coach Shane teaches us to help us get better. The class makes you feel like family and no one is there to judge you but only to guide you, work with you and just have a good time. They are now also training kids in the art of Muay Thai which is awesome because it could be a family affair and it will instill and help your kids to protect themselves and learn to be humble. Although I have yet to take a Muay Thai class with them, I love being in their bag work-strength/conditioning class. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn Muay Thai.
