I take my grandchildren to the classes. The instructors are very attentive. My grandchildren love their classes and it is a great workout.
We definitely recommend Alameda Jiu jitsu!!!! Our son has really learned so much and has a lot of fun. His time at Jiu Jitsu has improved so many other aspects of his life at school and home.

Best bjj on the island!! Great instruction from professor Jordan, very knowledgeable and a high level competitor. Focused classes - no time wasted, efficient drilling and lots of rolling. Very welcoming, there's people of all ages, gender, and skill levels. Great community, everyone is respectful and kind and want to help you learn and get better.
We live Alaska now and we came to visit family. My nephew wanted to show his cousin where he does his JiuJitsu. My son was able to join in on a session and we were completely amazed. My son stated how good they were, the movement was so advance and strategic. My son said that Professor Jordan was very supportive and he was able to understand the techniques. Professor Jordan style and technique is next level Jiu Jitsu. Thank you letting us visit.
My boys and I traveled from Los Angeles to Hawaii to train with professor Alameda over the summer. The three of us started juijitsu as a family 9 months ago at a gym in Santa Monica, California. Immediately we realized how much higher of a level professor Alameda was operating at and we were all pushed to a higher level of skill by professor Alameda. The gym has an intimate feel focused on quality. Professor Alameda is very adept to each student and provides valuable feed back to help you grow. Professor Alameda has a diversity of experience in Juijitsu spanning from Japan to California and more, which was important for us as a bicultural Japanese/American family. We were received very kindly by the other students. The gym culture set by professor Alameda is high intensity, respect, and growth on the mat and off. We will definitely be training with Professor Alameda next year when we return during the summer.
