I just started here recently and everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. Irv is very knowledgeable and motivating. The atmosphere here is great. Not to mention you get a great workout every class.

I joined this gym close to a year and a half ago and it has been one of the best things that’s happened to me. Irv Althouse is extremely knowledgeable and has an extensive background in fight sports. I’ve trained at other gyms before that cost much more and were much large, but Althouse training center not only was much better but also is much more comfortable. I don’t have to worry about people judging me or trying to knock my block off in sparring. Everyone is extremely friendly and overall I’ve had a great experience. Not to mention Irv Althouse got me the opportunity to actually step into the ring.

I started coming here and have become hooked on learning Muay Thai! Trainers are all very knowledgeable and helpful. Truly feels like a family here. I am so excited to keep coming here every week and improving!

We live nearby and thought it would be a good idea to have the kids try some version of martial art. This is a nice small gym with a family vibe. This is not the usual kids karate class which is basically babysitting. The team helps teach fundamentals and get the kids worked out instead of just running around. Small classes make it seem more like personalized training and helps kids stay engaged. My little ones are excited to go every time. They also have more serious adult classes.
