Great gym. Everyone is nice and respectful and Matt is great and amazing with the kids!
Dropped in for a class recently while in the area for work. Matt and all of the students were very welcoming. I loved the content of the class that day as it was on areas that I really want more exposure to. Matt does a great job of teaching and helping each student out during drilling. I got a chance to roll with several students after class and could tell they are being developed well. Wish I was in the area longer to come to some more classes here! Highly recommend for anyone in the area.
Matt is great! Someone you can trust. Clean gym, good people, great atmosphere! Classes start and end on time.
There are a lot of really good dojo's out there, but what makes a dojo special is the community within it. I've never felt so welcomed and listened to, than when I started training with Sensei Matt. While my health condition rendered me unable to continue my journey with HKD, I would recommend this amazing institution to anyone who wants to learn martial arts.
