This is a great place to help kids get active and disciplined while learning a new sport, but it’s also wonderful for adults. I was overweight and dealing with high blood pressure, and I knew I wasn't the type of person to just walk on a treadmill or lift weights at a traditional gym. After watching my granddaughters in Harry’s class, I decided to give it a try myself. I’m so happy I did! I actually look forward to going because the community is so welcoming. Best of all, my weight is down and my blood pressure has improved significantly
This is what my kids needed. I don't usually write a lot of reviews, but after several months of two of my kids (boy 7 & girl 5) attending, I wanted to get on here and let people know how much we are enjoying Hurricane. Mr. H and his crew run a well structured, but fun, environment. Mr. H takes his time, and works with each kid and gives pointers that the kids can understand. My kids look forward to going to every class they can. Last Friday, my wife and I took advantage of the parent's night out. (Drop off the kids, and had a date night) We felt like our kids were completely safe and knew that they would have fun.
This group is the best there is. Harry is so great with the kids. We put our son in these classes to boost his confidence- he has dealt with bullying for a while now at school. Starting him in these classes has changed his confidence level to the max. He always has the best time. 10/10 recommend hurricane! Harry is doing big things for this community & we’re grateful to call him a friend.
I take my daughter here to the beginners mixed martial arts class. They focus on boxing, kickboxing, wrestling and jujutsu. This place is awesome. Mr. H does extremely well with the kids. His teaching style and demeanor work really well with them. They have an abundance of extra curricular activities they offer such as the recent Easter egg hunt, parents night out, and nunchuck class. We have been coming here about 4 months. I highly recommend this place if your kid is interested in martial arts.
This is amazing place to train at. I started back in October of 2024 and I can say that I feel better about myself than before. Like everyone is really sweet and kind. Mr. H is the best coach ever. I love this place so much and I can feel strong not just in my body but in my mind. Everyone is amazing there an love my MMA family. It’s so fun to learn and get stronger every time you step on the mat. Hurricane has made me tougher than I ever thought I could ever do. Come join the movement.
