Not a bad gym for newbies, definitely a place to start for beginners not a good place for you if you know what you want and how you want it. Was deemed unfit to spar despite having the experience, came to sharpen my skills in the ring and wasn't even given a chance to show what I could do. Philly shell is not welcomed at this gym, and neither was my southpaw stance(was told southpaw doesn't carry "knockout power").if you have style that's not traditional it seems that it is also not welcomed there. You may have a different experience than I did but I would not recommend it if there's something specific or special you are working.
If you want to learn how to box or already know how this is a great gym to come to.
This review was long overdue! My son absolutely loves Mike and has learned so much from him. His confidence and knowledge in regards to boxing has become more prevalent. You can’t find a more friendly, family oriented place like here!!
