I was temporarily staying in Florence, KY for a few months. I was beyond thrilled to find this gym and call it home for the short time I was there. The owner, Joe, has put together an incredible space that caters well to every individual regardless of exercise style or experience. Joe is very experienced and knowledgeable in all forms of fitness and he has cultivated an incredible core of humans that care about a positive, inclusive culture. If growth is what you’re looking for, get involved at Iron Rig and you wont be let down.
I recently joined Iron Rig, attracted by its simplicity and proximity to my home. Walking into Iron Rig, I immediately noticed the serious fitness vibe, which pushed me to ramp up my own efforts. This gym caters primarily to high-intensity lifting, which aligns perfectly with my focus on core movements. While there are a few cable machines, the abundance of free weights really stands out. The atmosphere is highly respectful—members are diligent about taking care of the equipment, contributing to the clean and well-maintained environment. The owner, Joe, is hands-on and offers a variety of classes that cater to different ages and fitness goals. His approach not only helps in achieving personal health and fitness goals but also fosters a community of motivated individuals. For those looking to elevate their fitness journey, Iron Rig is definitely worth checking out. It’s an excellent place for anyone serious about getting fit in a supportive and professional environment.
Iron rig fitness is a absolutely Amazing gym. First off it's clean and sanitary, a plethora of machines to use. More then enough weights, benchs, bikes etc. A small buisness doing BIG things. Iron rig fitness has the modesty of a private gym but the usefulness of box brand gyms. The place offers great private training, group sessions, youth endurance to help with sports, I can go on for days how great the gym and the atmosphere is. Don't wait, stop in and see the owner. Joe is a great guy, knowledgeable and highly motivating. Don't take my word for it, come see for yourself how great this gym really is.
I’ve been a member for about 5 years now and this gym has come along way. It’s basically two gyms in one. One side is all CrossFit type things and the other it’s old school lifting. Joe the owner has runners, skiers, rowers, a rig to do any gymnastic exercises. Ropes to climb, TRX push/pull sleds, smith machine & GHD sit-up platforms. This gym is my playground. If you know what to do in a gym or don’t this gym is for you. They offer classes for newbies and if your experience then come in and get to work. I pay $30 a month for 24hr access and will forever go here. If you are looking for personal trainers? You have Joe and John. Both are great trainers, it’s a little more expensive, but you are getting 1 on 1 training. ALSO! This is not a CrossFit gym. It’s your normal gym that has CrossFit training equipment in there. If anything try it out 1 time it’s free your first time.
10/10 would recommend this gym! The environment is super encouraging and everyone is always welcome to come to the classes. Joe really helped me learn how to do the proper technique for pretty much every exercise I did because I was such a beginner, but now I feel stronger than I have in a long time! I've lost weight and finally have definition in muscles I've never had definition in before. I'd leave this place after each workout feeling tired, but proud of my hard work. If you're looking for a gym and classes to really change your workout habits, this is the one!
