TL,DR: Friendly, safe environment with stellar coaching (but you really should read my review)! Fight Force Fitness and DJ have changed my life for the better. As someone who spent their whole life out of shape and finally lost weight through a GLP-1 program, I was extremely nervous when I first was trying to find an activity to help me stay active. I thought that doing something that intrigued me would help me stick to it better. So when I finally came across Fight Force's website and read the mission statement, read the Google reviews, and looked at photos, I was interested because all signs pointed to it being a non-judgemental, friendly environment. I can confidently say that the reviews were accurate. DJ is extremely kind, friendly, and patient. I take weekly private lessons with him and the time is always engaging and an effective work out. Group classes are the major stand out though. Once I started going to those, I got meet the community DJ has worked so hard to foster. There are people of all different walks of life and skill levels working together to get a great work out and develop their Muay Thai skills. No ego, no machismo allowed. I've been training for about a year and a half now and I absolutely love it! It has lead me to new opportunities; when I went to Japan on a trip, I went to a kickboxing gym and sparred with people there. I was on the other side of the planet interacting with people through a shared interest! Not to mention, my conditioning was so much better. Old, out of shape me would have never been able to handle all of the walking. Needless to say I'm very grateful for Fight Force and DJ! Practical recommendation if you're utterly out of your element and want to come try this for yourself: Book a one-time private session with DJ, see if it's for you or not. If you're nervous about being around others, book lessons with DJ. Then, come to group classes when you feel confident. I promise you'll enjoy it.

This gym is the most inviting gym in the area, hands down. I have been training with dj going on 15 years now, from back when we competed at sidthilaw now to him opening up his own gym. Its not a mistake that if you look straight back in the rafters you see belts covering the ceiling. And sunday sparring is where its at. It is an open session to anyone from any gym and is hands down the best concentration of talent for anyone looking to get work in. There are people of all skill levels from just dipping their toes in to sparring to all levels of pro. If anyone says that this gym isnt one of the best gyms in Nashville they dont know what they are talking about

I’ve been training with Dj for 3ish years, and I can say without hesitation that this is the best Muay Thai gym in Nashville. Dj is a coach who actually knows how to build fighters from the ground up. He doesn’t just run you through drills, he explains the why behind everything. The training is tough but structured, and whether you’re here to fight or just get in shape, you’ll be pushed to your potential. The gym has a fantastic atmosphere as well. Over the years I’ve gotten stronger, faster, and more disciplined, and that’s all thanks to the wealth of knowledge Dj gas. If you want authentic Muay Thai with a blend of western boxing, as well as a coach who genuinely cares about your progress, This gym is where you need to be.
