I'm sure I won't be the only negative review about the absolute mess this store was tonight. I'm so frustrated from the 2 hours I spent in here that I don't have energy to write everything. I can say, the employee's are absolutely clueless and could careless about even speaking to you. The gentleman working near the front was so rude that I'm almost in tears. After asking a question he just walks by me "excuse me!", I said "are you an employee?" And not a glance, nothing. The girls at the front both had issues and sat waiting with a very long line while no one responded on the headset. This is not the first time I've walked out of academy and went into a panic attack. I don't think I am able to come back here again...
I have been in customer service for over 20 years and I know how frustrating entitled customers are, and I also know how rude employees can be, but on January 24th 2026, Simone (employee) anticipated my needs before I even knew she was there. She was so thoughtful so kind so patient and so pretty. Instead of pointing and saying, it’s over there, she excitedly said may I please get it for you? She even took it up front for me since of course I didn’t get a cart, and I already had other items in my hands , so I could continue shopping without frustration. Thank you Simone for making the academy and the world a better place ❤️
Great store as always! Staff is friendly and well stocked
Went in to look for camping chairs. They were the advertised price. Store greeter and other staff were great and helpful. Carpet is need of upgrading, but the store displays and merchandise were well ordered and stocked as expected.
They have a little but of everything. The shoe selection is large but the options for sneakers are limited, very few size 14 to choose from. They have a really nice boot selection. You can find items for all types of sports. They have a limited gun selection. Plenty of staff working the sales floor. We need more of these back east.
