Rocky Steady Boxing is a big part of my goal to combat and slow down my Parkinsons. Before RS was available at Bodyzone Sports & Fitness, I drove to a community center in Lancaster for classes. Some have said that a gym can not give the time and effort needed for this program and these people.This statement could not be further from the truth. Bodyzone Sports and Fitness has an incredible program with diversity,various schedules for all phases of your illness, and trainers that are educated, in sync with our needs; caring men & women who I consider friends. Bodyzone itself has made it easy for us to feel a part of their experience and the different parts of their Center. They have offered lunches, gone out of their way to provide virtual training throughout the pandemic; and even provided a place to get vaccinated. Their staff is amazing and helpful; caring and interested in me & and all who participate. The building is stocked with fantastic trainers, state of the art machines,yoga room and spinning classes and an Olympic size pool for everyone's needs. I could not be as healthy as I am right now if I did not have THIS program in THIS building with THESE people running it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤

Rock Steady Boxing at BodyZone focuses on improving the quality of life in individuals with Parkinson’s disease, through a boxing-themed group fitness program. The class is non-contact, and modified based on the boxer’s level of function. As a Coach, this program is extremely rewarding, as I leave the studio knowing that I have made a significant impact on delaying the progression of Parkinson’s symptoms within my class.
