I stopped in for a private session with Coach Sarro (Chris) while I was up in Ellsworth on vacation, and it was a great experience. I’m from the Boston area and training toward a goal in bare-knuckle boxing, and he immediately understood what I was aiming for. Even in one session, he gave me a lot of solid pointers — real, practical stuff that applies to the bare-knuckle style: defense, distance, and staying composed under pressure. You can tell he’s got deep experience and knows how to tailor his coaching to fit a fighter’s goals. If you’re in the area, even just passing through, I definitely recommend booking a session. You’ll walk out sharper than you came in. I am planning on making another trip up there in the near future to train. It's nice to have another gym in another state.-- Danny
