Small dirty facility, stained brown/yellow and broken shower stall, worn equipment, rude owner, not worth $60, go to the other one 7 minutes down the road for $45 and an all around better experience. Bought a $60/month membership under the terms of a verbal agreement of yes they have hot showers, only to find out that their showers take 5-7+ minutes to get hot and sometimes dont get hot at all. Waited 15 minutes unclothed and sweaty in a cold dirty locker room after a long workout, for a shower that didnt get hot, i was then faced with the option of driving home sweaty in shorts in a 0 degree truck, or putting my clean clothes on all sweaty. After spending less than 10 days going there I asked for a half a month refund ($30) considering they werent able to hold up their terms of the agreement (the agreed upon facilities) the lady who owns it lied and said they work fine and refused a refund, I said how about this we go turn on a shower if it doesnt get hot in under 5-7minutes, I get a refund, if it does I'll walk away and you'll never hear from me again, for some reason she refused? What she did was lie and steal my money with extra steps.

While visiting Maine, I went out of my way to check out this 24-hour gym—and I’m so glad I did. I drove an extra 10 minutes each way, bypassing the gym in Damariscotta, and the difference was night and day. This place is clean, well-equipped, and clearly run by people who care about the experience. The equipment is well-maintained, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the 24-hour access made it incredibly convenient for my travel schedule. If you're in the area, give this gym a look—I'd easily rate it a 20 out of 10. Whether you're a local or just passing through, you won’t be disappointed. It’s absolutely worth the detour.
