My son and I dropped in for open mat and had an awesome time. Everyone welcomed us with big smiles and great energy. Got in some fun rounds with really skilled people. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommend. Thanks for the great vibes, guys.
My family started training at Foundry this year. We quickly found our new home as everyone has been inviting, it’s a safe environment, all of the coaches are invested in each member and their growth. This includes the kids program as well as the adults program. The kids program has been amazing for my teen boys and there are kids at every age, size and level from small to teens for each kid to be challenged to grow.
I had the great pleasure of stopping in for a class. High level instruction from an amazing instructor and lots of clean mat space. Everyone was very inviting and kind. I look forward to returning soon.
Foundry Jiu Jitsu is the best place to train! The coaches are all incredibly talented, skilled, and experienced, not just in their Jiu Jitsu abilities, but also in how they teach. It takes a true master of the art to be able to break down techniques in a way that anyone, regardless of experience, can understand. Beyond the instruction, the environment at Foundry is warm, welcoming, and extremely supportive. It's a safe space where you're encouraged to learn, make mistakes, and grow. It's also very clean! Everyone here is deeply dedicated and the values of hard work, consistency, and humility are ingrained in the culture. Those values don't just help you improve in Jiu Jitsu, they carry over to your personal life. I am extremely proud to be apart of this community, and I whole heartedly recommend!
Foundry is the first place I trained in the DMV after moving from New York and training at Renzo Gracie’s academy there. The instruction is first class, and better yet the environment is incredibly supportive/welcoming which has made training as I’ve gotten older so much easier to keep coming back to. Noel and his family treat all the students like their family, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
