My kids have been coming here for four years, and they absolutely love it. I always feel confident knowing they're getting great exercise and learning discipline while they're here. They’ve participated in Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, summer camp, and game nights, and they enjoy every activity. Coach Mahoney is encouraging, supportive, and keeps them accountable when they make mistakes. I recommend Crazy88 to every parent.
My daughter Emery recently started training at Crazy 88, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience so far! From day one, Coach Mahoney and Coach TJ have been incredibly supportive, patient, and motivating. They make each session fun and challenging, and Emery is already showing so much excitement and confidence. Chrissy and Nicia have also been absolutely amazing—so kind, helpful, and always ready to answer all of my first-time parent questions with patience and a smile. Huge thanks to the entire Crazy 88 team for making Emery’s introduction to this journey such a positive and welcoming experience. We’re excited for what’s ahead!
I have been attending Crazy 88 for almost 4 years, and have enjoyed my time training with all coaches at both Owings Mills and Elkridge. Through hard and encouragement I have been able to push my limits further than I thought I would personally go, from simply training for fun and exercise to pushing myself to join scrimmage events and accomplishing goals like stepping into the ring for my first smoker. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a great physical routine to keep themselves active, and join a welcoming community.
My son has been training with the amazing coaches at Crazy 88 Mixed Martial Arts ( Owings Mills location) for over two years now. He started with the beginners karate class. Gained his confidence and joined the Muay Thai class. He absolutely loves it. So much so, that he's ready to start competing in martial arts tournaments. The staff has always been friendly and extremely helpful. They will try to answer any question that you may have. The coaches are a personal favorite of mine. As a Dad, I really appreciate how the Coaches interact with the students. They're friendly, but stern. They seem very interested in the development of your child's skill and confidence. Though they usually have at least ten students in the class, I've seen them take a struggling child aside and work with them one on one to help that st. That's another great thing about Crazy 88. I like this place so much that I may even sign up for a class. Yes, they have adult classes as well. I'd recommend Crazy 88 Mixed Martial Arts any day of the week!!!!!!!
I am a 39-year old mom of two, and I have been training at 88 since 2017. 88 is my home-away-from-home, and the place I go to not only stay in shape and learn the art of Jiu-Jitsu, but also to find peace, and grow as a person. Coach Keith runs classes that are not only fun and challenging, but also teach elite level techniques that you just can't get anywhere else. My team is my family, and in the three years I've been with them, I've gone from someone who has never done anything athletic in my life, to having medaled twice in competitions, and been promoted to blue belt. I can't recommend Crazy 88 enough to anyone wanting to become a stronger, healthier person, and to reach your maximum potential.
