Coach Rich goes above and beyond to create an environment where every young athlete feels seen and supported. He’s knowledgeable about the sport, but also deeply invested in each student’s growth, both inside and outside the ring - both taking after hour calls to discuss my sons progression and remaining flexible when first deciding to join. What sets Coach Rich and S&A Boxing apart is the balance between discipline and encouragement and his hospitality. The workouts are challenging but rewarding, and Coach Rich knows how to push each kid to be their best without losing the fun and love for the sport. I appreciate the flexible classes for the boxers and and Wednesday evening’s dedicated to women.
It’s been my pleasure to have my kids ages 12 and 6 enrolled with coach rich. Not only have I seen a major development in them-defending themselves, they also gained a lot of boxing knowledge and a true love for the sport . It’s been a major attitude adjustment as well for them. Coming home completely tired from workouts as well as having a safe space to let out there aggression.
My Son found S&A Boxing online after moving in the Area. He’s alway had a passion for boxing, I was the one that didn’t like it. But after speaking with Coach Rich I felt at peace, and my son love this place, it has become his second home. It really like family here, thanks to to Mama Rich and the Staff, you have made this a pleasant Journey for my Son Darcy🙏🏾💕
I train at this gym and it’s one of the best gyms I’ve been too by far. The environment is always positive and. The coach always makes sure to push you to become better. Training at this gym truly made me realize my love for the sport.
The S&A Boxing coaches are exceptional. Their energy, knowledge, and dedication create an environment that inspires you to push yourself. Whether you’re a seasoned fighter or a beginner like myself, they’ll meet you where you are and guide you. When I started, I was an out-of-shape, 40-something-year-old with zero boxing experience. In less than a year, I’m progressing to sparring younger fighters, and competing in amateur competitions—which is a personal goal.
