Dojo Sante has been an excellent choice for my family. From day one, we have seen nothing but respect, kindness, and a passion for teaching the children. Every child is treated with respect and dignity, and gentle but consistent discipline. In the short time we've been part of the school, we've found the energy and dedication to be infectious, both from the Senseis and from the students. We're glad we found this school and look forward to being a part of it for years to come.
My son just had his 6th birthday at Dojo Sante and it was absolutely incredible. We had a full party with 21 kids and both Sensei Matt and Sensei Adorian did a wonderful job with the class portion of the party as well as the games. We had the perfect amount of time 1-3pm for lesson, games and cake complete with sword cutting! After having cake the children enjoyed more games before ending the party. With 21 kids they kept them all engaged and happy for the duration of the party. We loved our party there. Would recommend Dojo Sante for a birthday party! They know how to have fun and get kids moving. On top of hosting an amazing party, my son has been attending classes since October 2023. He started in the Little Ninjas class and took to it instantly. The Senseis know how to break down the moves and positions for young children to learn easily. They are all positive and caring when dealing with anyone in class. The atmosphere is very welcoming and enjoyable. My son is now an orange belt and is thriving. His confidence has grown so much and he’s eager to go to class and learn more. Dojo Sante is becoming a second place we can call home and family.
My daughter LOVES going to karate at Dojo Sante! She started in the Little Ninjas program before moving up to the Junior Beginners. Both programs have been great and are tailored to the students and their age/ability levels. Sensei Matt and his team are wonderful! Each Sensei gives individual attention to every student. The students are always greeted by name and are made to feel welcome at Dojo Sante. I love that the students gain confidence, learn respect, and make friends all while getting exercise.
Dojo Sante has been tremendous to my son’s development. The environment is fun and upbeat where the kids develop a real sense of comradery. My son’s patience, focus, attitude and enthusiasm have all been positively transformed. Also, the manner in which Dojo Sante establishes and reinforces goals has created a real sense of accomplishment for him. I couldn’t be more pleased with his experience. I highly recommended Dojo Sante to all families and their kids.
What my family likes most about Dojo Sante is how the staff makes learning fun, all while instilling respect and confidence in each of the students. The senseis do a great job keeping everyone engaged by making each class lively and exciting. It is evident that Sensei Matt and his staff genuinely care about each student by taking the time to work with them at their own pace when needed to master a technique. Dojo Sante has been a great experience for my 8 yr old, she looks forward to each and every class! We can not recommend this studio enough, it is such a welcoming atmosphere and everyone is wonderful!
