As someone who’s trained in professional boxing gyms before, I can say with confidence that this place is both the real deal and a total vibe; equal parts welcoming and serious about fitness and boxing. Owner and head coach Danny (Sonny's dad) is the heart of the gym: friendly, passionate, and laser-focused on helping everyone improve, no matter their level. He doesn’t mince words, and his sharp eye for technique ensures you get meaningful, personalized feedback every session. As a 50-year-old woman returning to the sport, I had an intro training with Coach Danny and, within 15 minutes, he’d pinpointed both my strengths and what I needed to work on. The gym embraces everyone, from competitive fighters to people like me who just want to get (and stay) fit. There’s also a real warm family feel here, it’s clear that lasting friendships are built in this space run by someone who truly cares. I can’t say enough good things about Sonny’s Gym!

The energy at Sonny’s is absolutely magnetic. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the drive, focus, and community that make it such a special place to train. Every session pushes me to grow not just physically, but mentally too. I can already feel myself becoming a stronger, more confident fighter little by little, and that’s all thanks to the incredible coaching and atmosphere here. I’m especially grateful to Danny and his team for their guidance, patience, and passion for the sport. They know how to bring out the best in me while keeping training fun, challenging, and motivating. I couldn’t ask for a better environment to learn and evolve as a boxer. Outside of training the community that has been born within these walls is something I don’t think other gyms can offer. People become family here and the amount of support in this gym is something you cant explain but something you should come and experience for yourself. I recommend Sonny’s with every fiber of my being. 10/10

Since the first day I walked into Sonny’s, I felt like part of the family! This isn’t your average boxing gym. This gym is gorgeous! All top of the line equipment. The trainers are very knowledgeable and can help you whether you plan on getting a good sweat or if you want to get in the ring for a fight. It’s great for people of all ages and genders. You will leave each session with a smile on your face! Best boxing gym in New England without a doubt.

When you walk in, for us it feels like home. Coming from a boxing family, the environment is spot on and clean! Danny and Mark always greet you with the best hello and everyone is so nice. It’s a safe space for my son and has all the best bags and the ring is a MASTERPIECE! My son does private sessions now and loves it, there is also group sessions for the kids too that he loves. “We not me” couldn’t be more fitting for this gym. All the trainers are wonderful. It feels like family! Sonny’s is the bomb! Check it out!!!!!

Best gym around I have my son who’s 6 boxing huge confidence booster for him. They make me and all three of my kids feel like family that we belong there! They are serious about what they do especially Danny the owner he goes that extra mile for everyone and his supporting cast Mark , Larry , Matty , Michael and Luigi all put there best foot forward and give you there all to be at your BEST!
