No better feeling than knocking down that heavy bag.
I’ve had a membership for about 6 weeks. The classes are fun, energetic, and addictive. It’s the highlight of my day. The app is also a serious added bonus. I went on vacation and was able to continue boxing and establish the habit because of the On Demand Videos. The instructors are kind and helpful. The environment is welcoming. My girlfriend says she notices that I’m losing weight, getting fit, and growing my shoulders. I also use the gym equipment to lift weights before and after. It makes it easier to stay on top of my fitness goals. 10/10 a fun way to get in shape fast.
Went in to order gloves and seemed nice enough, but then came issues. they started hounding me to take a class via email, text, and phone (after assuring me contact was only for receipt and order status). i know they need the hard sell to get clients but i was in for a different reason and didn't show interest in a free trial. two weeks later i get a call that my gloves are in so i stop in and they tell me they sent the wrong gloves. oh but i can have the other gloves they got in which were nothing like the ones i ordered. after i made a comment about being screwed since the online sale was passed ryan said "i didn't screw you. they sent what they sent. nothing i can do about it." . they say they are going to refund but i got a email saying the refund failed to process (we shall see). to top things off they charged more than retail (only a cent but still). if they had called and told me "the warehouse sent the wrong thing. it'll be another week or so" i would have been totally fine with that, but instead it was "here's a different product you know nothing about", obstinance, and defensiveness.
Went in today for a free trial class with Ryan. After being greeted by Luke, getting set up with Ryan and having a kick A class, I signed up on the spot! Such a nice group of people. No shame felt, not uncomfortable at all! I highly recommend Title Boxing if you're looking for a new part in your routine!
My experience here is just keep challenging yourself to do better. I challenge myself to never give up and keep going. I always tell people don’t give up on yourself and try your best!
