Talk about being blessed to have such an amazing gym with world class coaches in this small town. Amazing group of people coming together for a common cause - to help eachother be the best version of themselves, while learning a new skill. Amazing and I 100% recommend 👌
I have 3 sons that have trained BJJ and competed for many years. Prof. Jesh and his students were incredibly welcoming. Myself and the boys were impressed by the high-quality and nuanced Gi instruction, even for the youth level students! We were immediately impressed by the clean, disciplined, and fun atmosphere of the academy. I highly recommend this program for all BJJ students, be they of advanced or beginner skill levels.
I recently had the opportunity to stop in at Kraken Jiu Jitsu - Cadillac. Prof. Jesh was kind enough to train with me, caught me with a kneebar, and showed me a couple of his setups. A few days later, I went back and took a class with Tom on leg drags and tripod passing. This academy is in great hands. Prof. Tony from Kraken Grand Rapids happened to be in while I was there. He was very welcoming as well.
Jesh the owner is incredibly skilled, kind, and proficient at teaching. As a complete beginner, he and everyone that attends classes are very careful at teaching, drilling, and practicing in a way that you learn but don’t put yourself at risk of injury. It’s a refreshingly welcoming community. We are lucky to have this gym in Cadillac.

With a few months in, I have nothing but good things to say about the gym. It is very clean, with a major focus on safety and hygiene. Jesh and Tom are both extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and everyone training is respectful and careful. We are very fortunate to have such a great place and great people to train with in a small town like Cadillac.
