I had the pleasure of staying in escanaba last week. During my stay I decided to go to Noc’s to see how their nogi and gi jiujitsu classes were. I was not disappointed by any means! There was a nice mix of brand new, novice, intermediate, and advanced skill sets. The atmosphere was GREAT, and the instruction was top notch! I honestly couldn’t have had a better time. Thank you guys for the great week and I look forward to see you all in the future!
My son has been attending Jiu-jitsu classes since they started kids classes and he absolutely loves it! It's the perfect blend of discipline, skill and fun! I highly recommend you check it out out!
A wonderful welcoming dojo. The adult class was super chill but a great workout. My 8 year old loves going and asks to go every day after school. We started to supplement wrestling in the off season but he loves it so much Santa brought a GI. I highly recommend you give them a try. It’s wonderful to have this program in the area, it’s a lifelong sport and a great place to roll!
This place is really something special to have in Escanaba! Jack is a great instructor who is determined to help everyone learn at their own pace. To anyone looking for a new hobby or for a good workout, I can't recommend Noc's Combats Sports enough!
I cannot say enough about how incredible this gym, the coaches, and the community of people are. My son has been attending as a beginner for three months now and his growth, discipline, and skill level in jiu jitsu has far exceeded our expectations. I was simply looking for something to keep him active in the winter and had no idea the benefits that would come from this sport. The example and support from the other kids and his coaches, Jack and Bob, has tremendously impacted him both on and off the mat. Give it a shot!
