I’m writing this review on the behalf of my whole family. We are starting to realize that kids appear to be dropped off or let loose to run around the weight room, making working out very difficult and unpleasant and extremely unsafe. I believe that’s the purpose of the recreation area and not weight room :-/ other than that, it’s very clean and lots of options for machines and cardio :-)
This is by far the nicest gym in the area! There is an abundant supply of machines, an extensive list of classes every day of the week, and the entire facility is very clean all of the time. My son loves the use of the open gym and the variety of equipment to use in there and I personally love the hot sculpt classes. There is something for everybody!
One of the best gyms I’ve been to. I was just up in the area for vacation and needed a place to train. Coming from someone who is a lifetime member and been to a lot of gyms this might be the nicest gym I’ve been to. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the brainerd area. Also the sauna is one of the hottest saunas I’ve been in.
My family and I Love Takedown gym!! The classes are amazing, the staff is great and everyone feels like family there!! Yoga Sculpt and Cycle have been my go to classes lately but honestly they're all great there!! If you haven't been there yet you need to go check it out! My family and I have been members there for a few years now and our only regret is not joining sooner!
Great gym with everything you need for any type of workout. Love the sauna and all the equipment is taken care of. WARNING: Even when you commit to a year long membership at a given price, they can change the price to anything they want during that time. Just months in to the commitment the price went up and I was still committed. Not to mention the account management errors we have experienced.
