Dropped in for a Saturday open mat. Atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Had a great time: I plan to come back if I'm in the area.

I dropped in for a no gi class and open mat while I was visiting the area. The instruction was good, the people were welcoming, and the facility was clean. I had a good time and enjoyed the rolls.

Dustin Hjelle has established an awesome place for Jiu Jitsu in the Duluth-Superior area. My kids initially went to Inner Strength Martial Arts and briefly Superior Jiu Jitsu. They wanted to compete ultimately and found both of those establishments to be unimpressive and low quality/yield. We then went to Prodigy Martial Arts in Blaine, MN (which is awesome too). We still go to lessons there but wanted a place closer to home too. When Drengr opened and we heard about it, we found it to be of same quality teaching as Prodigy (both are excellent). Dustin and Lee have been awesome. So now we consider Drengr our home facility but supplement with Prodigy too because they were great to us. If you want to learn Jiu Jitsu at a serious, high quality establishment, Drengr is the only place I would consider in the Duluth-Superior area. They are fantastic and their new facility in West Duluth is super nice.

My younger brother and I dropped into a class here while visiting the area and I would 100% go back. They offer great no gi classes and open mats which is clutch when you're traveling. Great instruction, nice facility and they have the "pit" walls which is hard to find. If you're in the twin ports area give this place a try. They offer a week free trial which is perfect for anyone visiting the area and wants some good rolls

Phenomenal jiu jitsu between the crew and the coaches. Dusty is a pleasure to talk to and work with as is Lee and Michael. The skill level and atmosphere is one of the best I’ve come across. I’ve trained for almost 5 years bouncing all over for Uncle Sam and I can easily say this has been one of my favorites. The coaches here are great at identifying what a person is good at and what they need to work on, and then giving guidance for success. My bjj has absolutely gotten better here.
