The is "hands down", the most excellent martial arts school one could ever have. I have been with Sensei Gerry for many years (on and off due to life) but his teachings are the best. I encourage any and all to check him out; you will not regret making the choice. If you want true self-defense, look no further than Okinawan Kenpo Mushin Ryu!
They remembered my son after he took a 7-year hiatus. Before then, he had only participated a handful of times, and yet they still remembered him. They are family-friendly and respect the art; which is important. They treat people very well and all are welcome. Very happy, again.
Real traditional Okinawa Karate. Very family friendly / oriented. Owners only care about what is best for each individual student. They get to know each student, their need and how each student can best succeed.
They teach more than just karate, classes are fun zumba is always exciting,My son loves the little ninjas class and I've lost 60 pounds since i started going to karate. Would highly recommend everybody try it.
My husband and I visited 4 dojo/academy in the area before choosing Okinawa Kenpo Mushin Ryu. The Rivera family provide maritial arts classes to all age groups, starting at age 4. They also provide Zumba to the community, 3 nights a week. This is a fun, exciting, family oriented karate dojo. If you are looking for a great place to work out, learn a skill and learn from a master maritial artist... this it IT! We love it!
