My husband’s mobility and general strength has significantly improved from the classes at Rock Steady. He enjoys the interactions with classmates and coaches. It’s a great place for Parkinson.
Only my wife's 2nd class but the improvement i see her has been incredible...highly recommend to anyone battling Parkinson disease. The coaches do an amazing job keeping everyone engaged.
Coach D is an amazing coach. I love attending his free boxing sessions. He’s very motivating and will challenge your strength and weaknesses. The gym environment is very welcoming , clean and organized.
Rock Steady Boxing is better than any PT program we have been in. My husband is not able to fully participate in all the exercises, but he does get a big smile on his face when the coaches engage with him. They are compassionate and caring coaches that provide excellent exercises And fun for those involved. The socialization with other members, as well as the coaches is awesome to see and does put a smile on my husband‘s face. It is awesome to find a happy place that tries to keep my husband’s body moving.
Rock Steady Boxing Memphis was a blessing when we knew my dad needed to get moving! When I saw this program I knew it was the perfect fit for Daddy. Everyone there was welcoming from day one. Cheryl and the staff genuinely care about the participants and it was something Daddy looked forward to each week, when he had no interest in getting out of the house, otherwise. Give it a try!
