My son was one of the first students in the kid’s class. He has learned self defense, martial arts, boxing, and grappling throughout his time here. It has been great to keep him active while having fun at the same time. However, some of the most important lessons my son has learned here are confidence, perseverance, self discipline, and how to work with others. These classes have been great for my son, and he has made vast improvements since starting. I would definitely recommend this Bigner’s JKD Combat Academy to other parents.

Martial arts is the overarching name that covers all forms of disciplines like Karate, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, and Jiu-Jitsu. It’s a world where mental focus meets physical training, giving kids and adults alike a path to confidence, discipline, and strength. Within this world, Mr. Sifu stands out as an incredible teacher. He has the unique ability to connect with students of all ages—whether guiding kids through their first stances or challenging adults with advanced techniques. Every class with him is engaging and full of energy. He not only teaches the moves but also encourages respect, perseverance, and personal growth. There’s never a dull moment in his classes, and every student walks away feeling motivated and inspired.
Probably the best combat sports gym I ever been in. Kid friendly great instructors and just great all around training in every aspect of martial arts.
