The kids' classes are engaging from start to finish — never a dull moment — and the instructors weave in self-discipline and kindness as naturally as the techniques themselves. My child has grown more confident, more respectful, and more focused since starting here. Warm community, skilled coaches, and a program that genuinely lives up to its name. Wholeheartedly recommend to any Slidell family.
Rick Weems Martial Arts is hands down one of the best martial arts schools in the area. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about every student’s growth—both on and off the mat. The environment is welcoming, positive, and focused on building confidence, discipline, and real skills.

I have 2 boys that are on their journey to black belt. The program has introduced the concept of goals, both short term and long term. The best thing about this school is Mr. Holley. His leadership among his instructors and his mentorship to his students is what makes this school great. I didn’t learn karate as a kid but I would have loved to be a part of a program like this.
What a positive experience this has been! My grandson has improvements in attitude, manners & discipline. This is a great help for shaping and forming your children into high quality individuals. I highly recommend!
