My son has been taking lessons here for over a year now, and recently held his birthday party at the center as well, and it was a BLAST! The staff handled everything for us so we could just enjoy the party. The kids all got to participate in a fun karate class, and my son got to cut his cake with a sword, which was a real highlight. Highly recommend for kids’ birthdays of any age. As a family, we also truly appreciate the balance of focusing on fun while teaching important skills like respect and commitment through the sport.
Honestly, I can't wait to hear back so my son can get into private lessons with Will. Just for some background, my son is autistic and he came to me and told me he wants to be a ninja so I immediately started looking for martial arts classes for him. After an experience at a tae kwon do class where my son was scolded for having difficulty focusing (I mean he is autistic) I had given up. Then I saw an ad for XNMA and decided to give it one more shot. When we got to the class (a little late and for a private skills assessment) the instructor teaching the group class was kind and was not moved by son making noises and trying to come sit on the floor. When we got downstairs with Will, he was literally AMAZING with my son. Will was extremely patient, and kind, while still teaching my son moves and discipline like bowing when entering the mat and his new favorite move push kick. I think Ninja came and sat for the end of the lesson as well which was comforting in a way I felt like my son was seen and really worked with. Thank you guys so much and I can't wait for private lessons to begin and turn into group lessons for my ausome little guy.
A very family-driven, friendly and highly professional atmosphere. The last 4 years at this dojo has impacted my son’s life in the most positive ways. He has acquired self-control, respect, focus, a team attitude, leadership skills which all have been demonstrated in his actions beyond the dojo, particularly at school. In addition, he has made incredible friendships. Since my son started coming to the Xtreme Ninja dojo, he has never wanted to go to any other dojo. Taking adult classes myself, I have been extremely happy with the variety and quality of classes offered, and would definitely recommend this dojo to the entire family. Have been coming for the last few weeks to adult Muay Thai after a close friend invited me to try out the gym. That facilities are awesome, and Ninja is a fantastic instructor. I have really enjoyed my time here so far!
I have been bringing my son here for a few months and i highly recommend it. The classes are taken very seriously and the work out is real! They teach tecnique but they also focus on social skills and the respect aspect of martial arts too. Its a very friendly atmosphere and all the kids get along very well, the coaches are very attentive the entire time, especially during sparring. The classes provide a good balance of challange and fun.
