Professor Kory, Professor Vinny, Professor Hoffman are the best. Every1 has always been very cool here and there are just too many names to mention but Professor Stephan, Justin, Connor, are just a few that have always helped me.
Dropped in for a class from out of town. I work on the road so usually coming into a new gym for a class is 50/50 but this gym is definitely worth it. Vinny and the rest of the guys were super welcoming and laid back with high level rolls and technique. Anytime I’m back in town this is where I’m coming to train!
I went down to the shore for my first anniversary with my wife and as always: GOTTA TRAIN. (thank you beautiful wife) I paid a visit to academy of JJ to get my fix in and let me just say: this is the spot if you’re training down by the Toms River/Jersey Shore. Friendly staff, very insightful coaching, and just an overall fantastic culture at this gym. Their facility is clean and they have a shower so you can wash after some great rolls. Shoutout to Professor Kory for teaching class when I dropped in. I learned a lot of really cool, subtle tricks to improve my game. He’s a great professor!
This gym is fantastic!! The gym is large, the mats are immaculate (the mats are brand new and the environment is clean), the people are welcoming, and the instruction is excellent! I was looking for a place to train on vacation and they were so nice to welcome me in. I did a Tuesday morning at 6 am and there were a lot of people! The rounds were INCREDIBLE and coach Vinny was an awesome teacher!! This is an amazing gym
Had a great time training at the Academy! Super welcoming. Clean facility, great rolls, amazing instruction. Really felt like it was grappling at my home gym. 10/10 would recommend!
