This is a terrific community boxing center in the south valley. This place has a lot of history with the local boxing scene here in Albuquerque as Johnny Tapia and Bobby Foster and countless other champions have trained here. It is free through the city and I believe it’s great to have for people of all ages to go to. If you are an experienced boxer looking to sharpen your tools or just someone wanting to work out then I highly recommend coming to the Jack Candelaria Community & Boxing Center. 🥊

Like going to this gym everyday very nice staff clean environment Good vibes every time I'm there an amazing place to hit bags play basketball and even pool

Excellent gym with three rings, punching bags and weight equipment for all to use. Friendly staff!

Still closed for construction. has been all year long in 2024! It's a great gym and I look forward to when it opens again. it was supposed to open at the end of November but it never did!
