Great facility with all of the right equipment. Not a social gym, also not a meathead spot either. Everyone minds their business and is respectful of eachother's space. Also a lot of variety in things to do (MMA & Crossfit as an example), plus the posing room is a great additional thing you don't realize you need until you have it.
Bodybuilders, powerlifters, fighters, etc. this place has it all for everyone all under one roof. Get your work in and get the hell out. If you're looking for a cute fitness club, this ain't it. Grunts, yells, slamming, SWEATY. I love it. People are respectful. There were some machines I've never seen before. My only problem, not enough towels to clean off the machines. Anytime I'm back in NM, I'm definitely coming here.
My favorite gym in Albuquerque. They don’t just throw in random machines — every piece of equipment is high quality and feels great to use. The only downsides are the limited number of cardio machines and how hot and crowded it can get during peak hours in the summer
I absolutely love this gym. The coaches are knowledgeable, and they don't mind answering questions about small stuff if I don't have an appointment set up. I get to see them training people, and I learn a lot from them. The gym itself is a good environment as well.
Definitely different. I recently joined this gym and It has its pros and cons. Pros are that signing up was super fast and efficient, it’s a 24 hours gym, the equipment is okay, they let you workout however you like with chalk, without a shirt, etc. Cons are that it’s a mixed use facility with limited space. They have a small turf area for CrossFit type of exercises together with the leg machines. Then they have a wrestling/kickboxing/jujitsu/combat sport area next to the upper body machines. Then tucked away in a corner they have squat racks with flat benches but no incline benches. In other words this gym has no real identity but in the process it is a very cramped gym with too many members and too little space. You have to be cautious when working out since there are so many people each doing something completely different. It is also a bit of a social place with groups of 3 or 4 individuals at each machine. It is like a maze. I give it 5 stars mostly because it’s a local place without the commercial gym vibes but it may need to be better organized or be moved to a bigger location. You also park on the street which can be a challenge since it’s often full.
