For the past 7 years or so I’ve been a part of Ultimate gyms boxing gym and the sport of boxing. I moved from New York to Charlotte in 2016 and did not expect to find a gritty competitive gym like New York has. I visited some that were in garages & people’s homes. Some gyms had coaches teaching “special” moves and garbage techniques. Some gyms forced you to pay for classes you didn’t need. Finding Doug Bradford at the spacious equipment filled Ultimate gym was the start of a 7 year ongoing career. Such a great gym that other gyms come train with us. Such great coaches that allow you to be yourself & at your own pace. A positive environment that blends boxers of all styles & experience to train together. I drive over 40 minutes to get to Ultimate gym from south Charlotte because that is my second home. I hope this finds that new boxer that is overwhelmed with finding that perfect fit. That has all the determination but no know how of how to begin his or her journey. The start is here
I trained there for a while and I'm going back. Best gym I been to in 4 years! Coaches and trainer train good and realistic. They don't want to just take your money like most gyms , they actually train you on basics and techniques before advancing. If you want to become a professional boxer this is where you need to train!!

My experience was amazing the owner dough is like a second grandfather to me. It's is a great facility with so many options. They joke alot but it's all in play. If you are serious about working out this is the place to be good friends and staff. It's a place to make your second home!

Been boxing here for almost a year. Staff and regulars are extremely friendly and if you show commitment and initiative everyone there will work to help you improve whatever it is you're looking to improve. The owner Doug is a great guy and has flexible pricing.
