My son has been attending for about 8 months, but it feels much longer. His sensei makes him feel seen and finds opportunities to highlight his strengths. The families and students are kind and respectful- it’s been an awesome experience for our family. We love Leanne!

I love fighter within and the owner Leanne is amazing! I just started personal training with her two weeks ago and already see and feel such a big difference! She is very professional and focuses on customizing your workouts to accomplish your personal goals! I also train jiu jitsu here as well! great facility, positive environment, highly recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about Leanne and her crew at Fighter Within Mixed Martial Arts in Hendersonville. The dedication they have with all the kids & any class I’ve watch is truly amazing to see… My grandson which is almost 4 has been going here for almost 3 months now and he is absolutely obsessed with going! He asks his Mom & Dad almost every day if it’s the day we get to go to Jiu Jitsu! Can’t wait to see where he is at in his skills in another year!

Fighter Within MMA is a special place in Hendersonville. The variety of programs is solid from Mountain Division Jiu Jitsu and Legacy Kickboxing with Chris Sawtelle to Combat Karate and the Body Bootcamp. Watching the instruction you really notice the patience and the mindfulness of each person training. It has been cool to see the progression from the Little Cobras to the older groups and how Leanne helps them build confidence and focus. Having 24 hour access and a sauna makes it convenient for a busy schedule too. The most impressive part is the support they all offer the community. You do not get a membership here because it is the best deal in town you get a membership because you know their coaches walk in integrity and humility. They truly care about the people they train.

Sensei does an amazing job with the kids. All the kids are respectful and accepting. My 5 year old has gained confidence and has learned how to do things for himself just by being in karate lessons. The dojo / gym is amazing and clean. Has a great feel right when you walk through the doors. Highly recommend!!!
