I walked into Big Muddy saying I wasn’t going to make any friends….well I failed not only is Big Muddy a great place to workout for ALL skill levels, you get the added bonus of developing friendships with people who will push you out of your comfort zone into being your best self!

I absolutely love this gym! The coaches are super encouraging and really know their stuff. They make you laugh and push you to your limits at the same time. The community is the best — everyone’s cheering and high-fiving. It feels like a big family. The workouts are challenging but fun, and I’ve gotten stronger and more confident since joining. If you want to sweat, smile, and surprise yourself with what you can do, this is the place!

I’ve been going to Big Muddy for about five years now, and it's truly changed my life for the better. I started when I was 50 years old after watching my daughter compete in an event here and I’ve been hooked ever since. The community is incredibly supportive, welcoming, and filled with people who genuinely want you to succeed no matter your fitness level. The coaches are outstanding, focusing on technique and safety, not just lifting heavy weights. Every workout can be scaled or adjusted to fit your abilities, making it good for beginners and experienced athletes alike. Since joining, I’ve lost around 60 pounds and gained almost 20 pounds of muscle, but the biggest change has been in my health, confidence, and energy. Big Muddy isn’t just a gym, it’s a community that pushes you to be your best, both inside and outside the gym. We met Chris at an Expo and his love for CrossFit really encouraged my 13 year old daughter to try it out. We attended the first class and workout together and the instructor was amazing! The group was so encouraging and inviting. My daughter has a new found confidence.

Big muddy was awesome! Lots of space, great equipment, and I felt welcomed. I am sure anyone new to crossfit would feel welcomed. I appreciated that they had some beginner barbells 15lbs and some lighter weights. I was working with an injury and the coaching was super helpful. Can’t wait to come back again.
