I had been looking forward to working out here while I’m in town for a project for about a month. When I arrived, there was no office or staff on site, and no clear way to get in. Everything seems to be handled online, but there’s no information about day, weekly, or monthly pass options, and no one available to help with short-term memberships for people who don’t live here. I’ve called the number listed twice and sent an email, but haven’t received any response. The communication and accessibility here are really disappointing.

This place is awesome! My wife and I bought a couples week pass to use while we’re in town visiting family. It was very affordable and this gym has everything we need to get in a solid workout. I actually like it more than my home gym!
Lakefit - A Hidden Gem in Garrison I recently had the opportunity to experience Lakefit Gym while camping near Garrison. As someone who always makes time to work out, I decided to get a 7-day pass, and I was thoroughly impressed. Despite being located in a small town, Lakefit Gym offers a variety of equipment that exceeded my expectations. The gym has an old-school vibe, yet it caters to all fitness levels with enough variety to keep workouts engaging. I visited in the morning, and the atmosphere was motivating, thanks to the fellow gym-goers. The facility is well-maintained, and you can tell the owners take pride in providing something special for the community. Everything was in good working order, which was a pleasant surprise for a small-town gym. The quality and variety of the equipment are top-notch, with plenty of weights for those who lift heavy. The gym has a great layout, making it easy to find and use the equipment you need. While there was no staff on site during my visits, the setup and organization were intuitive. They offer cycling classes, although I didn't participate in any. One of the best aspects was the accessibility—Lakefit Gym is easy to find, with ample parking just a few feet from the door. It wasn't overly busy when I was there, so I had no issues with crowding affecting my workout. While there are no additional amenities like a sauna or smoothie bar, the core offering of the gym is strong with a 24/7 access. As someone who loves working out, finding a great gym while on vacation is always a bonus, and Lakefit did not disappoint. I would highly recommend Lakefit to anyone who values their training, whether you're a visitor or a local resident. It's a great little gym that delivers on all fronts.
